Artist & Art Educator — Los Angeles
Lyndsay
Phaneuf
Artist, designer, and emerging art educator whose work explores identity, imagination, and storytelling through character-driven worlds.
Lyndsay Phaneuf creates soft sculptures and wearable designs while maintaining an active teaching practice. Her work explores identity, imagination, and storytelling through character-driven worlds — most notably The Hissyfits and The Misfits, a collection of whimsical soft-sculpture characters with distinctive bonnets representing different personality traits.
Her creative philosophy embraces the beauty of mistakes and the magic of wandering without a strict destination. She believes this openness leads to unexpected discoveries — and her work, which spans fine art, fashion design, and interactive characters, reflects exactly that spirit.
After a career spanning Converse, Pam & Gela, and Vivienne Westwood, Lyndsay is now channeling that creative energy into classrooms as an emerging single subject art educator in Southern California.
